Naples Patio Design Inspiration
Let's face it - summer in Naples is HOT. This typically results in clients closing the door on their outdoor patio space and sticking to entertaining inside - but I'm here to argue a different case! Embrace summer entertaining outdoors with bright colors, fun patterns and tablescapes that will make your guests get in the summer mood. Most patios are on the smaller side, too, so I'm passing along my recommendations for patio design tips that are both fun and functional.
Take a Seat: Build a Summer Tablescape!
This season, I am loving mixing patterns and colors for my summer table, as well as traditional design pieces with updated and modern accessories. I always lean toward a coastal blue for my Naples designs, and this table incorporates a punch of coral for a truly stunning look. Here are the details if you want to build this table at home!
I decided to mix classic glassware (mine is Baccarat) with my everyday glassware for an elevated look that isn't too stuffy. I absolutely adore these candlesticks and candles from MacKenzie-Childs - I also got my lanterns from this brand. They're timeless and chic but work seamlessly on an easygoing summer tablescape.
These napkins and napkin rings were a fun find in Aspen at a little store called Amen Wardy Home. If you're ever in the area, you need to go! My patterned plates are by Juliska and are in the print "Country Estate" - I find them to be a fun twist on a traditional print. Pair with my "go to" salad plates by Aerin and a complementary pattern, like a stripe, and you're set! I picked up my summer striped plates from a local Naples boutique called Summerfields.
Enjoy a Spot in the Shade
Lounging on your patio is the best way to enjoy a sunrise or sunset. I chose to incorporate some color with this fun printed towel by Matouk and some Global Views accent pillows. I'll often set up a tray with yummy fruit-infused water and enjoy a book in the shade. The key to making the most of your summer patio design is creating a space that you will love and actually use!
Shop Local for Fun Summer Finds
I always love using rainy afternoons to hunt in local design boutiques for new finds. Support your local businesses in the slower summer months by browsing their selection and skipping out on long ship times from bigger retailers! Also, you might just find the final missing touch for your patio design.
